HomeRenty ("we", "us") runs a service that helps people find long-term rentals in Poland: the Telegram bot @homerenty_bot, its Telegram Mini App, and the website homerenty.pl.

1. Data we collect from users of the Telegram bot and Mini App

• Your Telegram ID, and — if your Telegram privacy settings allow it — your name, username and phone number.
• Search preferences you set (city, districts, price range, number of rooms) and listings you save.
• Messages you send to the bot and to our support.
• Payment status for paid plans (payments are processed by the payment provider; we do not store card details).

We use this data only to run the service: send you listings that match your filters, show your saved listings, process subscriptions and answer support requests.

2. Data processed through the Threads API (Meta)

We use the Threads API solely for our own brand account on Threads. No other Threads users log in to our app.

What we access

• The access token and user ID of the HomeRenty Threads account, to call the API on its behalf.
• Public Threads posts returned by keyword search for rental-related phrases (for example "сниму квартиру Варшава"): post ID, text, author username, permalink, media type and timestamp.

How we use it

• New matching posts are sent as a notification to our team's private Telegram chat, so a team member can open the post on Threads and, if useful, reply to it manually from the Threads app.
• The post text is sent to OpenAI to draft suggested reply texts for our team. Drafts are reviewed by a person; nothing is published to Threads automatically.

What we store and for how long

• Post IDs, for 30 days, only to avoid notifying our team about the same post twice.
• The notification (post text, username, link) stays in our team's private Telegram chat until deleted by us.
• We do not build profiles of Threads users, do not combine Threads data with data of our bot users, and do not sell, rent or share Threads data with anyone except the processors listed below.

3. Processors

• Telegram — delivery of bot messages and team notifications.
• OpenAI — generating reply drafts from public post text (API data is not used for model training under OpenAI's API terms).
• Contabo GmbH — server hosting.

4. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, and you can lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (Prezes UODO, uodo.gov.pl).

5. Data deletion

See Data deletion instructions. In short: write to info@homerenty.pl or @homerenty_support with your Telegram username or Threads username, and we will delete your data within 30 days and confirm by reply.

6. Retention

Bot user data is kept while you use the service and for up to 5 years afterwards where required by law (e.g. accounting records for payments). Threads data is kept as described in section 2.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
